Fried rice is a famous, easy, and perfect dish all over the world. This dish may be cooked with leftovers. 

Mostly fried rice is cooked on high heat. 

Sometimes people don't have this facility in their houses. There are some important techniques to cook fried rice. 

Although each recipe may be different, it is easy to follow some tricks and enjoy perfect fried rice.

Selection of rice:


Select the right type of rice. 



Rinse the rice 

Rinse the rice is very important to remove excess starch. 


Boil the rice :


Boil the rice one day before, cool and dry. 


Seasonings :




Proper seasoning is another important step. Different seasonings are used in different region of the world, Soya sauce, 

Oyster sauce, chilli sauce, fish sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Ketchup are normally used. 


Importance of eggs :


Eggs play an important role. Eggs enhance the taste. You can fry an egg and serve it on the top of the rice platter. You can cook an omelette and mix with rice. 


Cook in wok:


It is best to cook fried rice in wok. It is easy to flip and toss rice in wok. 


Oil selection :




 

It is very important to use the right oil, which has a high smoking point.

Fried rice must be cooked over high heat.

Ingredients must be prepared before you cook fried rice like vegetables cutting, boiling the rice, cutting the meat in slices etc.

Ingredients :

  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 500 g of cooked rice
  • 1 egg
  • 75 g of chicken breast meat, cut into thin pieces
  • Or(Boiled and shredded chicken)
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2cup of chopped carrot
  • 1/2cup of chopped Capsicum
  • 1/2cup of chopped Cabbage
  • 1/2 teaspoon greens chilli
  • 1 tablespoon spring onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • Cooked omelet
  • Salt



Instructions :


  1. Heat up the vegetable oil in a wok or large saucepan.
  2. Saute the chopped garlic and onion until aromatic.
  3. Add the  chicken meat and stir-fry until they are cooked. Remove the chicken. Leave the remaining oil in the wok.
  4. Add the cooked rice and stir-fry over low heat until the rice sizzles . 
  5. Add the vegetables, chicken, sauces ces. Stir fry over high heat until rice becomes dry. 
  6. Sprinkle spring onions on it and enjoy delicious homemade fried rice.
