Homemade Chicken Fajita Pizza:





Pizza Dough:


This is my all-time favorite recipe for homemade pizza dough. I love homemade pizzas and this is my tried and tested recipe by my students, colleagues, and family members. My family loves pizza and has tried this recipe more often. 
This recipe is perfect for parties. Everyone loves pizza and this recipe will suit your taste bud. 
This pizza dough recipe is easy for beginners to make homemade pizza crust. Don't order pizza, baked at home with basic ingredients. 
The main thing is pizza dough or pizza crust. 
It's as easy as kneading dough to make bread at home. 

Easy tips and tricks about pizza dough

Lukewarm water:

The first step in making dough is to activate the yeast. The water in which the yeast is soaked should be Lukewarm. Yeast will not be activated in cold water and will die in hot water. 

Instant Yeast:

Nowadays Instant Yeast is available in Sachet. Tighten any leftover yeast after use and keep it in the freezer.

Mix with sugar:

Always mix the yeast with the sugar and soak it in lukewarm water. If bubbles form then your yeast is fine. Otherwise, it is not useful. This step helps you to know whether the yeast is OK or not and to avoid wasting your other ingredients.

Fermentation:

Now the fermented water can be mixed with the rest of the ingredients and kneaded. If more water is needed, add lukewarm water. If dough sticks to your hands, you can add a little flour. 

Proofing and kneading:

Then knead the dough well for 10 to 12 minutes and place in a greased bowl and cover and place it in a warm place to rise. Proofing time may increase if the place is cool. 

Refrigerate the dough:

Knead again after the dough proofs. At this stage, you can also refrigerate the dough and use it the next day. When you need to use it, remove it 2 hours before and bring it back to normal temperature.

Placing of dough:

Now place the dough in the pizza pan and spread it by hand or with a rolling pin. After shaping up, add pizza sauce and then top with filling. 
Filling/topping can also be made by the choice of your family members/friends etc.

Uses of cheese:





You can use any brand of cheddar cheese and mozzarella on top. The mozzarella cheese gives a stretch and the cheddar cheese gives the pizza a good flavor
Preheat the oven to 200c and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

Pizza without oven:

There is nothing to worry about if you don't have an oven. You can bake pizza without an oven. Take a heavy bottom pot and spread salt everywhere equally. You can use stones or sand but salt is a good conductor of heat and spreads heat equally in the pot.
Now place a steel rack in the pot and preheat on high flame for 15 mins. Then place a pizza pan carefully because the pot is hot. Now reduce the heat to medium-high and bake for 20 minutes.

Pizza Crust :

Some people prefer thin and crispy pizza crust while others thick and soft crust. 
This homemade crust is soft, thick, and delicious. The main ingredients of pizza dough are the same. 

Ingredients:

Flour.             2 cups 
Yeast.            1 teaspoon   
Salt.               3/4 teaspoon 
Oil.                 1 and 1/2 teaspoon 
Sugar.            1 teaspoon 
warm water    3/4 cup 

Method:

Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. After a few minutes, it will start to froth up. When it's frothy, add vegetable oil to it. Add salt and flour. Knead it. 
Grease a bowl and put the dough into the bowl. Grease the top of the pizza dough with some vegetable oil. 
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and put it in a warm place to rise it until doubled. 
Punch down the dough and scrape it out onto the floured counter. Pull up and around the dough with floured hands and form a smooth ball. Pizza dough is ready. 

Chicken fajita filling and topping:





Ingredients:

Chicken strips         500 gm
Onion slices.          1 Medium 
Capsicum.              1 Medium 
Tomato.                  1 Medium 
Cheddar cheese.    1 cup 
Mozzarella cheese 1 cup 
Lemon juice.           1 tablespoon 
Yogurt.                    2 tablespoons 
Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon 
Coriander powder. 1 teaspoon 
Black pepper.         1/2 teaspoon 
Chilli flakes.            1 teaspoon 
Oil.                          3 tablespoon 
Oregano.                1/2 teaspoon 
Salt.                        1 teaspoon 

Method of filling and topping:

In a frying pan, heat the oil and add chicken strips, fry well until it changes its color. 
Add ginger-garlic paste, salt, chili flakes, yogurt, coriander powder, pepper, mix well and cook for 2,3 minutes. 
Add lemon juice, oregano, capsicum sliced onions slices, tomato seedless slices, and stir for a minute. Let it cool. 
Grease your hand with oil and knead the dough again. Roll out dough on a floured surface.

Ingredients of pizza sauce:

tomatoes.                    2
Garlic powder.            1/4 teaspoon
Ginger powder           1/4 teaspoon
Chop onion                 1small
Sugar.                         1 teaspoon
Chilli flakes.                1/2 teaspoon
Salt.                            1/2 teaspoon
cumin.                        1/2 teaspoon
Oil.                              1 tablespoon
Oregano                     1/4 teaspoon

Method of pizza sauce:

First, fry the cumin seeds in oil and then add chopped onion and lightly saute and add tomatoes and all the spices. When the oil separates blend and cook again and when it thickens, take it off and let it cool

Assembling and baking:

Place the pizza crust on the pizza pan. 
Spread pizza sauce, add the chicken filling, mozzarella cheese, and Cheddar cheese. 
Sprinkle some oregano and bake it in a preheated oven at 200C° for 20 minutes.
