CARROT HALWA
Ingredients:
- Carrots. 5 kg
- Milk. 1 kg
- Malai . 2 cups
- Dry milk. 1/2 kg
- Sugar. 1 and 1/2 cup / According to taste
- Desi ghee 1/2 kg
- Cardamom powder. 1 tablespoon
- Almonds Pistachios. 1/2 cup
Method :
- Peel
carrots and grate.
- Then put the milk on the stove to boil.
- When it boils, add grated carrots and let it cook.
- When the milk is dry, add 1
and 1/2 cups of (malai) and cook on high heat, stirring constantly.
Mix the remaining 1/2 cup of malai with dry milk and cook in a separate pan . Keep stirring well. Add a tablespoon of ghee if needed. - When it comes in the shape of a loaf and leaves the pan together, take it off the stove.
- On
the other hand, when the malai is cooked, add sugar and cardamom powder
and mix well. Add ghee and fry well.
- Then add the cooked dry milk (khoya) and half almonds and pistachios and turn off the stove and cover.
Serving:
After five minutes, put in the dish, garnish with almonds and pistachios and serve hot.
