Dum Qeema Aloo.
Ingredients:
Beaf minced. 500 grams
Potatoes. 250 grams
Onions. 2 Medium
Garlic Ginger. 1 tablespoon
Tomato puree. 1/2 cup
Chilli flakes. 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Salt. to taste
Turmeric. 1/4 teaspoon
Yogurt. 3 tablespoons
Nutmeg. 1/8 teaspoon
Maize. 1/8teaspooon
All spice powder 1/2 teaspoon
Oil. 1/2 cup
coal. 1 piece
Green peppers. 2 to 3
Green coriander. 2 tablespoons
Onion rings. To decorate
Lemon slices. To decorate
Method :
Heat oil and fry chopped onion. When lightly browned, add grind garlic and ginger. Then add finely chopped green chillies. When the aroma comes, add qeema and fry till the qeema changes color, then add salt, crushed red chilli, red chilli powder and turmeric. Lightly fry and add tomato puree. Then add yoghurt and fry. Cut the potatoes into cubes add and cover with 1/2 cup water and cook. Then add coriander. When the potatoes and minced meat are cooked , add nutmeg, maize and all spice powder and cover. Heat the coal and let it smoke. Serve with onion slices and lemon slices.
