Basan Wali Aaloo Tikky
Ingredients:
Potatoes. 3 large
Finely chopped onion. 1 Medium
Roasted red pepper. 3 medium size
Roasted cumin. 1 teaspoon
Roasted dried coriander. 1 teaspoon
Salt. to taste
Chatt masala. 1 teaspoon
Green coriander. 3 tablespoons
Mint. 3 tablespoons
Green chilli . 2 medium size
Bread Crumbs . 2 tablespoons
Oil. For frying
Batter ingredients:
gram flour. 1 cup full
Corn flour. 2 tablespoons
Flour. 1 tablespoon
Red chilli . 1/2 teaspoon
Salt. 1/2 teaspoon
Ajwain. 1/2 teaspoon
Roasted cumin. 1/2 teaspoon
Water. As needed
Method :
Boil and mash the potatoes.
Crush the roasted coriander, roasted chillies and roasted cumin.
Finely chop green coriander, green chillies and mint.
Finely chop the onion.
Now mix all the above ingredients well and make cutlets of the same size.
Combine the batter ingredients to make a thick batter. Batter consistency must be thick at all.
Heat the oil. Don't smoke but get hot fast.
Dip potato cutlets in batter and put in oil. And do not stir for five minutes otherwise the batter will separate . Turn over when light color comes. Now when golden brown, remove and serve with ketchup
