Beetroot Ice cream.
Ingredients:
Milk. 625 ml
Eggs. 3
Corn flour 3 tablespoons
Sugar 3/4 cup
Vanilla Essence. Optional
Red syrup. 1/4 cup
Beetroot puree. 1 cup
Cream. 400 ml
pistachio. For Garnish
Method :
Boil two cups of milk with 3 to 4 tablespoons of sugar.
Mix the cornflour in the remaining half cup of milk.
Beat 3 eggs and the rest of the sugar well and then mix the cornflour mixture in the egg mixture and cook on low heat continuously. When it thickens, take it off and let it cool. And add two packets of cream, beet root puree or red syrup (Jam e sheern or Rooh Afza ). Mix well and put in an airtight jar and keep in the freezer. After 2 hours, remove and beat again for 5 minutes. Freeze. Do this process twice more and leave to freeze. Garnish with red syrup, pistachios and almonds.
