Basan Fried Fish
Ingredients:
Fish. 1 kg
Salt. to taste
Garlic Ginger. 4 tablespoons
Ajwain. 1 teaspoon
Flour. 4 tablespoons
Lemon juice. 2 tablespoons
Ingredients of spices:
Salt. to taste
Whole red chilli. 15
Dry coriander. 1 tablespoon
cumin. 1 tablespoon
Black pepper. 1 teaspoon
Mustard seed. 1/2 teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds. 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric. 1/2 teaspoon
Yellow food color 1/4 teaspoon
Red food colour pinch
Batter ingredients:
gram flour. 1 cup
Corn flour . 2 tablespoons
Yellow food colour. 1/4 teaspoon
Salt. 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili. 1 teaspoon
Ajwain 1/2 teaspoon
Eggs. 2
Water. As needed
Oil. For frying
Method:
Add salt, two tablespoons garlic and ginger, ajwain to fish and leave for 3 hours. Then wash with flour and add lemon juice.
Dry roast coriander, white cumin,dry red chilli, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and black pepper. And grind. Then mix salt, turmeric, food yellow and red color in it and apply it on the fish.
Mix the ingredients of the batter and make batter with water as required. The batter should not be flowing but thick enough to stick to the fish pieces.
Now heat the oil and fry the fish and serve with the dip of your choice.
